"Creating wine experiences: UNWTO product development", opening lecture of the Master Erasmus Mundus on Wine Tourism Innovation WINTOUR

Today was held at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Tourism and Geography the opening ceremony of the first edition of the Erasmus Mundus Master on Wine Tourism Innovation - Wintour.

The event was presided by the rector of the #URV, which was accompanied by the Mayor of Vila-seca.cat, the dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Geography and the dean of the Facultat d'Enologia URV. The inaugural lecture "Creating wine experiences: UNWTO product development" was given by Ms. Yolanda Perdomo, director of the Affiliate Members Program of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

The event was attended by 25 students enrolled in the master from a total of 19 countries around the world and several teachers of the program.

Programme of the European Union - EU, combines a large expertise in Tourism and Oenology of three universities and regions: Universitat Rovira i Virgili - URV, Université de Bordeaux, and Universidade do Porto. These universities are located in highly attractive touristic areas, and have a long tradition producing wines and specialty wines. Related industries and institutions give support to this training program.
