Nicole Kalemba, winner of the 8th edition of PortAventura award

The aim of this award is to publicly recognize the excellence of the students doing the bachelor’s degree in Tourism at the Rovira i Virgili University and to help with carrying out a personal development project promoting the values of initiative, competency, leadership, responsibility and commitment.

This year's winner was Nicole Kalemba, which is currently studying the Master of Technical Analysis and Innovation in Tourism. The other two people who were eligible for the award, Elena Fernández-Valera Hernández and Eva van der Hout, obtained a certificate of recognition. All three finished the degree in Tourism in our center during the 2012-2013 academic year and obtained one of the five best academic records of their cohort.

During the event, Ms. Carolina González Gamarra, General Manager Hotel Division at PortAventura theme park, has given the lecture " Key element in hotel management: the team".
